Extra Curricular activities

I spent thirteen years playing soccer; I quit soccer during Eleventh grade because I wanted to focus more on my school. I attend the teens group in my church, I help organize what we're going to study for each class meeting. In my church, I also help out with the younger kids, and any online places that involve our church. In my second semester of Eleventh grade, first semester of RCHS, I started riding horses, taking care of them, and spending all my time outside, and learning everything I could about them. It was another fun way for me to connect with people, and have another activity to keep me busy. Horses can get injured easily, and so do the riders, which helps me learn how to react when something happens, to either the horse or person, and I learn what to do, such as bandage, or stopping the bleeding, broken bones. During the summer before I started Twelfth grade I joined Zero Dojo. Zero Dojo is a MMA fighting club, MMA stands for mixed-martial arts, and the basics for that is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai. I practice my fighting every week as a way to stay fit and release and stress and anger that I may have, as well as learning about even more injuries that occur and what to do for any injury.
