Future Area of Study. Why?

       Being that I was always in soccer, and always getting hurt, I wanted to know how to take care of myself and others. This helped me to start looking for a career in the medical field. I had always had a natural habit of taking care of others, and listening to people and their problems; this got me looking into being a psychiatrist. I decided not to continue into this career choice because I knew that my emotions of listening to my patients and their problems would make me want to take action, so I decided to look into another career. Since I excelled in science and math, I looked even deeper into a career that had this, and offered me the ability to help others face-to-face. Which brought me to find anesthesiology; I realized this was the right career for me. I would be able to help people going through surgery, being able to be there right next to them, getting that feeling of protecting them and taking care of them. Plus it used mostly science and math to help them, which made it even better for me.
